Prime Academy Congratulates Its First Batch of Graduates
August 8, 2008

Prime Academy, a learning center created by Prime Communications for select and valued customers, recently concluded its first batch of classes. Included in the roster of its first batch of graduates are IT managers and executives from various industries.

Prime Communications clients such as De La Salle University, National Statistical Coordinating Board, Competitive IT Solutions, C&E Publishing, Tann Phils, Bridgestone Precision Molding were among those who fielded their IT teams for this first batch.

Prime Academy is one of the key initiatives of Prime Communications to deliver its customer promise of “Service, first-rate and foremost.” Through the learning center, Prime Communications aims to empower its customers with applicable knowledge in networking and IP communications. It is Prime Communications' way of sharing its expertise in IP apart from the products and services it develops and offers.

The first batch of graduates learned internetworking fundamentals. In this module, participants were taught the basics of internetworking including network components and functions. They also learned how to create a simple host-to-host network.

The succeeding modules will tackle routing concepts as applied to medium-sized networks, how to construct Medium-Sized Switched Networks, and when to use Network Address Translation (NAT) or Port Address Translation (PAT) on a medium-sized network and configure NAT or PAT on routers.

Enrollment to classes is by invitation only and given for free by Prime Communications to its select and valued clients.
