General
Information
- Is Prime Academy
an official Cisco training academy?
No, Prime Academy is
not an official Cisco training center
The modules are not Cisco modules as well.
However, the Prime Academy technical training
curriculum is the training we use for
training our Network and NOC engineers.
Prime Communications is a Cisco Certified
Premiere Partner. We want to provide more
value to our services and Prime Academy
is our way of giving back to our clients.
- Are students
Cisco Certified Networking Associates (CCNA)
after the training?
No, students are not
certified afterwards. They may opt to
take the CCNA exams afterwards but this
will be at their own expense. Using the
Prime Academy curriculum in training our
Network and NOC engineers, we have a 100%
passing rate for CCNA.
- Are all customers
qualified to Prime Academy?
No. Only customers that
meet the following criteria are invited
to the Prime Academy:
- Minimum
of one (1) year contract using any service.
- Aggregate / total Monthly Subscription
Fee (MSF) or Monthly Recurring Charge
(MRC) of at least P 25,000.
- Every P 25,000 MRC is equivalent to
1 Learning Credit. (For example, client
X with P 98,000 MRC has 3 Learning Credits.)
- A Learning Credit is good for one
student for one class. (For example,
client X with 3 Learning Credits can
send 3 students to the same class, or
1 student to 3 classes.)
- Service must be active.
- Client must agree to the Terms and
Conditions for availing Learning Credits
as stipulated in the Learning Credit
Voucher.
- What does aggregate MSF/MRC mean?
This is the sum of all
Monthly Subscription Fees (MSF)/ Monthly
Recurring Charges (MRC) of the customer.
For example, if a customer has 3 accounts
with MSFs of P24,000, P30,000 and P22,000,
the aggregate MSF is P76,000.
- Can someone with less than P25,000 MSF/MRC
qualify?
No. The minimum MSF is
P25,000.
- Can a client use email hosting or web
hosting to qualify?
Yes. Any corporate service
that is active with us may be used to
qualify to Prime Academy.
- What is a Learning Credit?
A Learning Credit is
the credit earned by the customer to enroll
to Prime Academy. For every P25,000 MSF,
the customer earns one Learning Credit.
One Learning Credit allows one student
to attend one class. To complete the first
four modules, a student must have 4 Learning
Credits.
Class Details
- How long are
the classes and who are the instructors?

a minimum of 24 hours split into three
8-hour sessions or days. Instructors are
certified CCDAs and /or CCNAs who went
through a rigorous selection process before
they were selected.
The Prime Academy faculty
is headed by a Cisco Certified Systems

Yes. However, students
are encouraged to come in early to avoid
disrupting the class.

be allowed to attend if account is suspended
or terminated after enrolment has been confirmed?

will be forfeited. Learning Credits will
also be forfeited if students do not attend
the class.
- What will students
get after the class?
Students will get Certificates
of Attendance and Evaluation Letters regarding
their performance in the Prime Academy.
